What it is

Glaucoma is an eye condition that can cause gradual, permanent vision loss if left untreated. It occurs when the pressure inside the eye is too high for that particular eye, damaging the optic nerve over time. Because glaucoma often develops slowly and without early symptoms, regular eye exams are important for detection.

There are a variety of treatment options available for glaucoma. In our office, we offer approaches that include medicated eye drops, in-office laser procedures, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). These treatments are tailored to each patient to safely lower eye pressure and reduce the risk of vision loss.
